I was making fun of how some of the students "listen".

I had fun teaching, when the classes were small like that.

had another look at the picture .
it looks to me that you got their attention ... and made them smile !
you can't ask for more - particularly at 2 pm - if i read the clock right -
that's often the time when the eyes simply won't stay open - no matter how good the lecture and the lecturer  .

Okay, now another question.

How do you get the photo centered on the page?

I can get an indent but not a centering.

select "copy link location". Try it with the pic I have posted above

On the chance that your advice was free, I right clicked on the picture. Nowhere does it say "copy link location."

BTW, I've got XP

Hey, I've got XP Pro... Where's MY "copy link location?"

That would be a nifty thing to have to avoid all that properties copy paste stuff.

When you right-click on the pic, a window opens, with four sections.
It's the second option in the second section (at least in German - but that most certainly is just the translated English version).

For me, I get "Save Picture As..., Set as Background, etc.

Hmm. Gotta talk to Bill Gates about this. The Germans and Australians shouldn't have better options than us Americans. Next thing ya know those folks will be passing us in all sorts of things like democracy, math and science cause they can click / copy/paste faster. Very Happy

Jespah:

So it's multiple list close list sets.

I'm off to the test forum.

Thanks. Very Happy

Edit: Yes, works fine no matter how many list - /list sets you use.

in the past i've used a number of periods, which i turn white and make size=7.
it takes a few attempts to get it just right:

To me the easiest way to post an avatar of your own is
a) to find one you like on your computer storage,
b) transfer it to photobucket or imageshack or other such site and then
c) resize it to avatar size by using ResizePic.com,

(I've had trouble with photobucket's resizing - sometimes it doesn't get quite small enough - and this other site, suggested by a2k member Reyn is much easier than fooling with that.)

d) transfer that url to the avatar blank near the bottom of the profile page.
