@jcboy,
When I first brought Frankie home from the shelter I admit I was a bit intimated by his size and the fact I didn’t know him. I was afraid he might turn on me and bite but after getting to know him he would never do that, he’s just a big lover! I get down on my knees and he puts both paws on my shoulders and gives me a big hug everyday.

@tsarstepan,
My Co-Worker Bobbie said I could post her doggie picture, and I thought I had a big dog! I forgot what type she is, a mix but one big one, 125lbs! Her name is Jozee

Bobbie said Jozee was part Husky but they were not sure what else.

She also has a big back yard and did the same thing I did, divided the yard in half, half for the dog and half for her and her husband to enjoy.

@jcboy,
I hope she doesn't sleep with them Laughing She'd take up a good part of the bed.

That is one BIG doggie.

That 's to your credit, to save him from the shelter, Morgan.
I have always liked BIG dogs,
and kept a few.

Diamond recalls a third type of dog food

Two human cases of Salmonella in Ohio linked to dog food recall
May 4, 2012

COLUMBUS -- Health agencies are urging people to properly handle pet food after two illnesses in people have been linked to an outbreak of salmonella associated with a dog food recall.

The Centers for Disease Control says 14 cases of human illness in nine states have been linked to the recalled pet food. The two cases in Ohio involve a 74-year-old woman in Franklin County and a 4-month old girl in Morrow

People can become sick by handling pet products contaminated with salmonella or by coming into contact with pets or surfaces that have been contaminated.

Washing your hands before and after handling pet food and treats, after petting or handling pets, or before preparing your own food is the most effective way to prevent illness.
