@mags314772,
I don't enjoy anything made with squirrel. (casserole or stew)

@Rockhead,
Cant get nuff possum. Squirrel in a good Brunswicky stew makes the meal.

However, ya cant get fancy with possum. Serving it with noodles or pasta is too up town for this ole boy.

@mags314772,
I'd say tuna casserole is at the top of my list...if I am going to eat tuna - it better be sushi grade and seared slightly on each side...with some lemon. Yum. Tuna was not meant to be put in a casserole in my opinion.

Scallop casserole
Well, any seafood casserole, but scallop in particular.
I've yet to try one that did not totally destroy the scallops.

@George,
I had something - I think it was crab...I can't remember what it was...but it was entrenched in this cheesy sauce - creamy - but it still had nice chunks of crab in it...it was good. But still not as good as crab cakes.

There are some things you should not make a casserole out of - contrary to popular belief. Squirrel and Possum - well...that just doesn't sound right at all.

@mismi,
You got that right. Sounds like something on the menu at The Road Kill Cafe.

my friend from Ireland decided to make a casserole/stew meal before she went home........it has got to be the worse meal Ive ever had to endure eating without offending her......hot water with lumps of meat, potatoes, carrots and onion, with no salt or pepper!

Spam casserole has to be up there. Yep, a "friend" made it once. We had just graduated high school and went to her family's cabin - just us youngsters - and she made spam casserole.

We are no longer on speaking terms.

Any casserole consisting of a mixture of different processed foods: eg cream of mushroom soup, tinned pineapple & tinned "something else". Mixed together & cooked. Ugh!
