I was in class for massage therapy and I slipped on some oil on the floor, I went to catch my self and I guess I scrunched up my toes and landed on the toenail of my second toe. I sat down and looked at it and the nail had ripped from the top to the cuticle. It was bleeding pretty bad and I realized that the nail was still moving everytime it bled so I tried to clean it up and I saw the nail just drop off. Now there is a big bloody hole where my toenail used to be and my whole foot hurts now. Should I just keep it covered with neosporin and a bandage or should I go to a podiatrist and have it looked at?
@blackrose3321,
have it looked at... present the medical bill to the massage place...
@Region Philbis,
I did the oil spill on my own....the bottle was cracked on the bottom and I didn't realize it until I had already slipped. My insurance covers it anyways too. Thank you though for the advice
