feels good to be back, though I have nothing to say
feels good to read your poems; one everyday
feels good to stare at my PC and smile, you guys are the best..... *smiles, hugs and kisses*

I’m scared to fight, I’m scared what you may think of me
I’m scared to write, you might not like the lines
I’m scared to talk, you might think it’s just lies
I’ve seen girls, young women, ladies whatever logo
I’ve had accomplices, girlfriends, and inamoratas
in this world, only one thing matters
wish I knew what it was, wish I knew what to say
wish I didn’t lose my senses when you walked through the door
thought I’ve seen beauty, until you stared into my eyes
my life was never like this, first sight love is fictional
it has to be; in just a minute I swear, I saw you twice

I’m scared to write, you may hate rhymes
talking to a lady is never a challenge
with you, all else changed
you look lovely but Damn! I hate your hairstyle
Wink Wink Wink Very Happy

@edgarblythe,
the angels swam in the oceans of the sky
the all knowing unblinking always thinking ambrosia drinking high
the sacred garden growing amoeba
the children naked , knowing not there leader
following with hearts of golden realm
arthurs not the only one with a golden helm
halo of golden stardust
in which we put our faith or hopes and are trust
are bus may have left
but the city we've built out of the remains
has filled the air with tears to rain
for years the flames
made it to bright to see the night
millions of years later what it came to be tonight
two centurys and were still here

@theprofessor,
sea shells sea shell's by the sea shore
he sell's what she sell's but there's a fee if you would like to see more
carefully tear bullies who hold there breath with there chest aired fully
i carry wooly mammoth tusk
you want poetry you get hamlet fucked
when the hammers up and ya hands are up
you the mans corrupt
said the bitter wife of spousal abuse
useing her pussy as community household use
look at the product how there manufactured an sold to the youth
the same people that sold you the loot
hold a salute
cause there getting paid for holding the loot
rollin to groups swollen , bold n no chance of folding
answer holding
memory banks , stowed away , you get told what ya told to say
just another blue chip with a double helix strip
just another galaxy polluted for our troubles so we can fix the ship
i aint buying this our lead scientists say its intricate
its infinite
well mother earth lets get intimate
no more beating around the bush
eating around the bush
now were bleeding cause we chowed the kush
how much can you take and recreate out of us
is it out of passion or out of lust
is it out of blind faith or out of trust
is it the visit to the inner or the vinear of the outer us
in years linyear thinking has only gotten you to talk about the dust
walk about the rusted homes and tombstones
drones look cloned by a phonebook ,name and number
i wonder if god ever came to wonder
became the brains hunger manufactured by the veins under
the same hunger that killed the cat
drilled and filled the world with artifacts
and were all a part a that
the heart of that
but when do we start to act , with the courage , to be like i sure did
observed it
found the right way to word it and blurt it
hip hop 101 there you heard it

only players make it that far
was a good boy, never entered a bar
the one to call at the worst of your days
to let go when your man was back in sanity
strangely my efforts were always under par
never seemed to understand
if girls called me a great guy
why there was no one to finish my pie

only players make it that far
in life and have memories to look back to
all ours, all my experiences were with her
my first, her name was Maria, called her Mary
every night I would lay awake and pray
wishing she could leave her man and runaway
skip the country, marry me in Mandalay

only players make it that far
tired of this world, I took a trip
down their tracks, rubbing every hip
there for her a day, left the next
admired by my peers, I left a dent
in my heart, deeper than in hers
best treatment, wish I had stayed

only players make it that far
don’t try and make sense of it
better yet, act like a full and be it
guys like us are only there to comfort
to pamper broken hearted young girls
for players never make it that far

@mngunim,
I want to live,
Not up to others’ expectations,
Just my life.

I want to give,
And take, and share, and glory in the hope
And bare my soul.

I want to thrive.
Burgeon, run rampant, spread my boughs to shelter
You from strife

And take the days
As each one comes, without the stricture
Of some narrow role..

@theprofessor,
Possibly the best thing
Known to Man,
Not even excluding sex,
Or chocolate,
Is reading on the beach
In a stiff, chill wind.

There is no accepted usage
That states your book should
Know your inner core.
The sea will likely never
Love you and leave you.
Gulls, with fish, more riveting
Than Attenborough.

Air, briskly caressing your face,
Piercing clothes to chill you deep,
Reminds you to keep
The civil contract firmly in its place
And let your primal nature to the fore.
Occasionally.

And then to delve
The maunderings,
Meanderings,
Imaginings
Of another mind.

Crashing waves retreat, unheeded,
While thoughts and deeds unfold
And when you surface, later,
To find your toes are blue,
Your bum, numb,
Joints frozen into place,
You grin and groan and thank the sea
And a distant inventive stranger
For this respite.

I can not just walk away from it now
it is as though it is part of me. how?
it started before i knew it's name
slowly it grew and moved about inside
taking up residence without apology
bonding and reforming changing slowly
never speaking loudly enough to voice
but slowly wearing me down from within
making me take notice. reassess priorities
why did this happen? what did I do?
don't judge too quick as you never know
what tomorrow may give back or take
sorting through memories all the while
knowing each man is but an island
of his own dreams and silent fears
building bridges. places he wishes to be
burning them. things he wishes not to see
watching the hourglass slowly empty
deciding each day whether or not
to turn it over. and start again.

I am a rage
In a song,
I am a rose
In a rage.
I am a rose
I am a rose
I am a rose.
I am a song
In a rage
I am a rage
In a rose.
I am a rose
I am a rose
I am a rose.
I am a rage
I am a song.

I don't ave any money
the plan fell apart
by now I should be a millionaire
and of won pharrells heart ha-ha
teenagers dare to dream
children jump from trees
I'm wary of the effect upon their knees
jeez, when did I grow up
when I began to throw up
when I smoked my cigarettes like a chimney
and irony gave my brother cancer
when I put down the bottle long enough
to see how much I made it tough
and saw the sorrow
that had blinded me since age 9
when I picked up the test and saw 2 lines
where is the plan now
It's useless to me
I should of been realistic
woke up from the dream
fantasies cant be leaned on
they are not even air
I've been lied to
and crushed
by people who aren't even here
And never really were

@mcee fya,
So often, mcee fya, your words express bits of my pain.

Possibly doesn't cheer you up (but it might) to know how much, on the other side of the world, my misery loves your company.

@spikepipsqueak,
It is comforting to think that you can find some of your own meaning in my writing and I especially like how you put it "my misery loves your company".

April, cruel as ever,
left us sick and out of tune,
grown too old together,
we sat among our runes,
then foolish May brought her bouquets,
followed by jejune
