the kitchen tile
took me awhile
I applied it with glue
now it looks brand new
it changed the theme
of my kitchen's dream
no time to faint
just give the walls some paint

Well well, edgar Smile

exercise surprise
before your very eyes
lifting weights for health
gives a body wealth
bend and twist
skeletal cricks
touch the nose
pat your toes
curve and crunch
time for lunch

You win...I drew a blank Smile
But I did clusty this:
Spaulding: Sure, do it at night when no one is looking. Why not put it in the reservoir and get the whole thing over with. Of course, that might interfere with the water supply. But, after all, we must remember that art is art. Still on the other hand, water is water, isn't it? And East is East, and West is West. And if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, uh... Now you tell me what you know.

Cav, your spontaneity lit up this small corner of the forum with humor, deep wittiness, and with the enjoyable and unusual use of your vocabulary. Your words will always be a pleasure to read.

Yes, colorbook, as did yours. Well, we must move on, I suppose, but one final observation:

Somewhere in the heart of time,
A tree grows in a frozen clime,
A look of leaves and breadfruit trees.

At the root of our small world,
There dwells a budding laugh or two,
From top of green to red of hue.
And in between, there's me
There's you.

And others who will come and go,
Just as Paul's core melts the snow.

Nice Letty

the bells will peal
in honor shout
the portraits of
what life's about
thick or thin
big or small
inspiration makes it all

Thanks for coloring outside the lines, honey.

I have not written much in the poetry forum, colorbook, because there has been no inspiration, nor inclination. We all should revive it.

Cyracuz of Norway is a fantastic composer.
