the day before two days after the day before tomorrow is Saturday. What day is it today?
Unless of course it happens to be Wednesday, which it does.
I agree with Monterey. It is Wednesday and has been since midnight last night.
It was a trick question, Nick. Got Imur, didn't it?
@solipsister,
Should have waited until the day before two days after the day before tomorrow is Saturday before answering.
"the day before [-1] two days after [+2] the day before [-1] tomorrow [+1] is Saturday. What day is it today?"
-1 +2 -1 +1 = +1 (today plus one day)
The day before tomorrow is today. The day before today is yesterday. Two days after yesterday is tomorrow. Thus, "the day before two days after the day before tomorrow " = "tomorrow"
If "tomorrow is Saturday."
The answer is: today is Friday.
Oh damn, I was just suckered into a trick question wasn't I?
Allow me to revise my answer to Thursday.
Hey, now the answer really is Friday! So hard to keep up with all these changes. Seems like every day there's a new answer.
Aw, don't worry about it. Even a stopped clock shows the correct time twice a day . . .
