It happens to me every month or so..they briefly shine it and then move on..

Anyways, i go outside to drink my coffee at 3 in the morning, i jus t got up..4 hours of sleep for NO REASON wtf..?

I see the helicopter flying around doin its light-thing..

It moves towards me and then the light shines on me, and instead of quickly taking the light off me it stays.. and stays.. and stays..
i fought the urge to flip them the good ol bird, having that stupid ******* spotlight on me for like 5 minutes in the middle of the night outside my house with no shirt on? lolz.

Im like thinking to myself, can i go back inside?
Do i wait out here?
Is this like being pulled over?
If i go inside are they gonna kick down the front door and shoot my dogs or what?

@OGIONIK,
If you didnt do anything you have nothing to fear. Its only Dick Cheney out spotting for deer.

Maybe they think you're a drug dealer?

or...perhaps, the chopper pilot likes you.

@OGIONIK,
File a complain as it can not do any harm with the cops and the FAA.

@OGIONIK,
Why did you fight the urge to flip them off?

@ebrown p,
flipping off the cops rarely brings good returns...

(were you sending up a bat signal?)

That reminds me of a story.

A friend of mine was driving through a rotary when a car came up fast on his right, then cut him off. As this was happening, my friend flipped the bird... before he noticed that this car was a police car (fully marked with sirens and all).

Said friend was pulled over and given a ticket-- the charge was "Failure to exercise due care and caution".

I thought the charge was quite appropriate (given that he did flip off a police officer). But, he fought the ticket and won.
