And the only, only thing
That he did that was wrong
Was to keep her from the foggy, foggy dew . . .
(Can you see that we're arrived at my favorite?)
Shall we know moderation in physical love as in all things, and be the better for it? Are there circumstances which allow the expression of burning desire, or is one better to exercise control of their passions?
How do you feel about lust?
Oh, lust is the only way to go! How can you have life without passion?
Lust is good, and passion. But, I don't think it's as neccesary as Swimpy seems to think it is. Maybe it is.
propogation of the species is important.
Iv'e always appreciated the color red...
I like pride gluttony and lust. Envy couteracts sloth by making you motivated.
see, now, that's my problem. I need a carburator to adjust my sloth/lust ratio.
you haul your ashes baby, I'll haul mine.
littlek, If you feel any lust at all you have to be passionate. Ain't no such thing as luke-warm lust.
No way, swimpy! You can surely have lust without passion!
Rape comes to mind...
I suppose rapists are passionate about something, maybe not passionate sex, but something.
I don't think rape as anything to do with lust, SP.
Umm... maybe you're right.
Now this is something I approve of. Lust, that is.
It's always been at the top of my top seven sins list . . .
Who says that lust is a sin? What is wrong with lust, it makes things interesting?
Yeah I know, christians. But I dont really care what they tell me is right and wrong. If you dont hurt others, and minumize on yourself, then I dont see what the deal is.
You tell me?
Just asking questions, Boss . . . a set of them as a matter of fact . . .
Oh baby, have you ever left work and literally ran down the street to catch a train knowing the object of your desire is waiting for you when you get off that train?
Lust will make a 40 year old woman run down the street after a hard days' work, sugar. Delicious.
I like lust. What can I say, I must be weak.
Plus, lust keeps you skinny!

Lust has ruined marriages, and toppled empires. To me, lust is the primal conjoining of two sets of hormones. When that happens, reason usually flies out the window.
That is not to say that PASSION is not desirable for a more exciting and fulfilling life. It certainly is, and has produced poetry, painting and all sorts of other human means of expression of creativity. It has bound people together, and has insured the continuity of the human species.
IMO, pure lust is sexual desire without caring, the expression of heightened hormones, compatible pheramones and nothing more, that is the cause of many of both an individual's and society's problems.
I'll take love and passion over lust anyday.
