I want to purchase a Hague Watermax residential well system with 3500 RO system. What should I be paying in Central PA? I was offered $ 4800 free install and 90 days same as cash.

@VJP,
That is a very highly over priced softener and RO.

You would save thousands by buying online and installing it yourself or hiring a plumber to install it. I suggest a softener with a Clack WS-1 control valve.

@Gary Slusser,
Thanks for the input, I don't have the time or inclination to do this one myself. Though pretty handy, just want to have it done by a professional. Have family issues with health and would like to be sure I provide them with an excellent system that requires minimal maintenance.

@VJP,
With health/family problems I would expect money to be important. You can actually get an industry standard high quality softener for thousands less. You buy Hague , there is only one dealer you can go to for service and parts.

What I sell is the same as would be found in a fast food place etc. etc., you don't find Hague there, only in residential. And there are many dealers to buy parts from.

It takes 30 minutes to assemble the average sized softener and then you can hire a plumber to install it.

Most people don't.

Is there a local independent water treatment specialist that offers softeners and filters topped with Fleck valves?
Somebody that sells, installs and services what they sell?

I offer my customers systems with Fleck 2510 SE control valves and have over a thousand in service.
These control valves are very efficient, cost effective and require little maintenance.

DON'T go with Hague. Their customer service is terrible. I bought a $5000 unit with a supposed 25 year warranty. I called after 7 years and told them my R O system was inoperative and leaking. First they sent out some incompetent dealer who had no interest in fixing it, didn't even bring parts. They wanted to sell me another $900 R O system. Called Hague and "Rick" said he couldn't help me. The parts I needed were only warranted for 2 years and he wouldn't sell me a kit to do it myself. He wasn't interested in helping me at all. I'd never buy another. There are others that are just as good and cheaper.

Are you saying they don't have a 25-year warranty? What was their reply when you asked them about that?
