I just deleted a file in MicrosoftWord. Is there a way to get it back?

@gollum,

assuming you mean you deleted a Word document from your hard drive,
go to your desktop and click the Recycle Bin icon.

it should be there...

Where was the file and what did you do to delete it?

If it is on a local hard drive, and you did not hold down shift while you deleted the file, then Region is correct.

If you permanently deleted the file (shift-delete) then you will need a file recovery program. (Google "free undelete") Make sure you install the program on a different partition from where the original file was, as every time you write to the disk, you risk overwriting where the file was.

If you deleted from a network drive, then you will need to restore from backup. You do have backups, right?
