Mold Growing - caused by poor workmanship

I had A/C installed a year ago. I just recently noticed mold growing in the corner ceiling of a bedroom closet. I had a mold remediation company then come out and they suggested that I have the company that installed the A/C come out and inspect the work they did, specifically with the pipes that were put in over the ceiling where the mold is growing. The A/C company came out and determined, in fact, these pipes were not properly insulated, therefore allowing condensation to leak down from the attic and on to the bedroom closet ceiling.
My question is this...Assuming the A/C company gets the mold removed, can anyone tell me what the existance of mold in the past does to me in terms of selling my home later on?

@ChristineT,
better check with local realtor or building inspector - rules may vary from one city to another .
definetely would install a dehumidifier .
