My four year old son has developed a bad habit of picking his nose. Sometimes I catch him tasting it, too. I have asked him to stop. I have even scolded him, but he still does it. I don't know how else to approch this. Does anyone have an advise they could give me on this?

I read recently that nose picking and booger eating could actually be helping your childs immune system.
Just teach him not to do it in public.
You can put some vaseline around and up in the nose. Maybe it's itching or dry so he's picking at it.
Other than that, ignore it. But i agree, not in public. Gently ask him if he wants a kleenex or let him choose his own box.
