After weeks of back-and-forth and even some intervening from Stephen Colbert, CNBC’s Jim Cramer and Jon Stewart will finally face off when the Mad Money host appears on The Daily Show this Thursday at 11pm/10c. Two men will enter! Only two men will leave!

I'm excited to see/hear how this goes. I saw the piece that the Daily show did about CNBC, and they didn't pull any punches.

I just watched an 8 minute clip from the stewart/cramer interview and it is dynamite. Say what you will about Jon Stewart, but he is not only sometimes the funniest person on tv, but also someone who is dangerously astute and brilliantly gifted at cutting to the chase. He tears Cramer a new asshole and he exposes the financial news network for some of the snakeoil selling that they did during the ten year "sudden" crash of our economy.

@snood,
I agree with Snood completely. But I was a bit uncomfortable watching it. I couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor guy who was, after all, getting a pretty good beating.

Stewart is very good.

@snood,
Those clips Stewart sported were so damning that I originally thought they were a joke that was put up by Kramer and Stewart. However, as e brown says, I gradually began to feel really uncomfortable for Kramer who was getting nicely pummeled and had nothing with which to return fire. Really as good as anything on the Sunday AM interviews . Stewart should get an EMMY for just that pwformance, he and his research guys did a fine job in a brief expose of how we capitalize the big guys mistakes.
