@msolga,
Programmed thus.

I can send emails from the phone when it can grab access to the net.

@msolga,
alas, I lost a bunch addys some time ago, or pms with addresses.
Hmm, I guess I should add an address hint to my profile. Anyway, msolga, I've no present way to send you my email. Will address this forthwith.

Someone sent me yours. (one of the ones I'd lost). I hope that's OK with you?

If you'd like, I will email you soon, so you have mine.

@msolga,
Great, and thanks to the one that sent mine to you. The one that person, whoever it is, has is preferable anyway, being the one I check most.

Yaaayyyy.

Makes you realize, doesn't it, just how easy PMs made spontaneous private A2K communication.

Hi Reyn. Yes, I've discovered this. Gonna need a bit of help with it, though. Right now my brain cannot take in one more bit of computer information! Wink

It's really simple. You click the Address Book tab in your Outlook Express toolbar. Then, click 'File' and go down the column to 'Export'. Select 'Address Book (WAB).

This will open up a window where you will select where you have your external device (something USB easiest) plugged in. With me, it's plugged into Removable Disk (J). Then, save your book there.

My email address is in my profile. Also, if you have a Facebook account, there is an A2K group there with 51 members that you can easily get in contact with. Here's the link:

@Butrflynet,
Sadly, Butrflynet, I can't do the Facebook thing until I'm on broadband. Hopefully, that is not too far way!

@Reyn,
Tried it, Reyn. All I got was an empty file.
And I don't use a USB.
Sad
Thanks for trying, anyway.

@msolga,
Hi msolga, worked for me, and I was able to print out my list. Your address book filling up again?

@Dutchy,
But you were probably able to find your old address book, Dutchy. And I've gone from Outlook Office (old account) to Outlook Express, too!

Is my address book filling up? It is! Actually it has been an absolute pleasure to receive so many friendly emails. About the only positive aspect to this whole fiasco!

@msolga,
A few addresses I still sorely miss, so A2K & some not ....

If anyone has Clary or Vivien's addresses, I'd appreciate it if you could email them to me. Or better still, Clary & Vivien, if by some stroke of luck (for me!) you should see this, I'd love to hear from you again! Very Happy

Betcha I'll discover others as I go.

Oh, anyone who doesn't already have my address & would like it, please feel free to contact anyone (who ever you know best) who has already posted here.

@msolga,
I've been facebooking through dial-up for close to two years now. Most of it doesn't require any particular speed.
