Moths eating spray on ceiling

What type of moth eats the spray (popcorn) on the ceiling, and how do I get rid of them.

Well are you sure that its a moth?? I read that cannot eat as adult because they dont have correctly developed mouth parts so when they are larvae, they have to eat enough for there whole life span. And the ones that would be found in living areas would be the ones that eat clothes. BUT if you really think they are moths( which would have to only be the babies) maybe just try putting moth balls in the area and see if that doesnt help. Sorry I couldnt be more exact in helping.

why do you have popcorn on your ceiling? I would encourage the moths to eat it all off.
