With the recent return of Who Wants to be a Millionaire, what do you all think the greatest game show of all time is?
Jeopardy, then
Password and the old Pyramid
Despite the inane theme music, Jeopardy.
The Match Game
<wild applause> <piercing whistles>
Good answer! Good answer!
Good Answer! Good Answer! is from the Family Feud!
The Mad Dash, with the inimitable Pierre Lalonde. P.S. I hate game shows.
If I had to make a proper choice, Beat the Geeks.
Why don't you like game shows Cav?
Jeopardy, Wheel Of Forttune, Price Is Right
I'm with fealola on this one....
Jeopardy (I always shout out the answer!)
Password (the old show, with Allen Luden)
Pyramid (I continue to think of word-clues for hours after the show is over!)
and.... final answer....
Concentration (that's an oldie!)
:-)
Jeopardy, of course.
I also liked Concentration, 'cause I once won a lot of stuff on it!
I wonder if we could start a Password or Pyramid game here. Thinking... it's possible...
Jeopardy! (my son played and won once)
The Weakest Link
Family Feud
Colorado (an incredible game show in Italian TV)
El Juego de la Oca (Spanish TV)
El Gran Prix (Spanish TV)
I once invented a game show for Mexican TV ("Gol, Canasta y Nocaut": Goal, Basket and Knock Out), sort of a Jeopardy! for sports buffs. It only lasted 39 showings.
I have had fun watching very old (60s. 70s) reruns of The Newlywed Game. Such naïveté!
