@Frank Apisa,
u prolly got canned so many times it became a "******* joke" to u. No wonder. Everything is a joke to you, including work. Maybe that's y ur always stuck on that welfare line, judging by ur profile picture.

@dirrtydozen22,
DD22, I thought you were supposed to be working on controlling your temper? This can be a good forum to do just that. We welcome funny or zingy remarks, but a post like this makes you look weak and defensive.

@djjd62,
i just don't allow ppl to say such derogatory things to me when I didn't even provoke him. "you might throw in a prayer for a functioning brain." That sounded nice, honestly?

@dirrtydozen22,
okay, i can buy that, but if you're going to conquer your anger you have to be able to either brush off those remarks or reply in a more even handed manner, "you know frank, i don't really appreciate those type of remarks"

@dirrtydozen22,
The trick is to shrug it off (remember the saying: "sticks and stones...") or look at djjd62's comment. It was funny and it put Frank in his place without hurting anyone's feelings. Frank did come on strong with you (Frank's Achilles' heel is religious belief), but that is no reason to slam him back with insulting nonsense. Good humor has to have truth in it and, when properly used, it can defuse anger.

@Frank Apisa,
If I was on welfare, I wouldn't spend much of my time playing golf.

I'd have a personal trainer, and take some water painting classes. Plus, it would be a good opportunity to travel. Milano, Japan, the Yukon.
