god bless u all..
so what u people think about living in the UK..
lets share..
Not bad...not prudish which I like...relaxed but too much blindness from the government and increasing poor areas which nobody gives a **** about...xx
I love to visit the UK, but not having permanent residence may or may not be desirable. At age 68, I'm sure the UK can keep me busy with touring the country with extreme enjoyment for the remainder of my life.
i dont know lol, but i must say that of ALL the places in europe, i long to visit the UK the most. i haven't the faintest clue why. can someone tell me a lot of the main differences between life in the US and the UK? i would love to hear what you have to say!
Except for their funny accents, there really isn't that much difference, except for the fact that the UK has a much better public transportation system - and the UK is a bit smaller in size.
And they have all sorts of weird traditions.

Like driving on the wrong site of the street, calling the president 'queen', playing cricket ...
Walter understands what I'm gaining at
Oh, and they serve "warm" beer.

Can I have some as well. I just came back after 2 1/2 weeks in India and instantly got depressed after landing at Heathrow
Gautum, you have my sympathy too.
Heathrow is a depressing airport. LOL

There were several reasons why I became a british citizen - love for the british was certainly NOT one of them
Should we call this English patriotism?
I think I should add that Col Man lives in Leeds.
Gautam, you are always free to renounce your British citizenship.
Despite considerable provocation, we are in general a tolerant and reasonably civilised people.
We have managed to build the biggest empire the world has ever seen, given it railways telegraph and law, and dismantled that empire with a certain amount of skill.
We do not get over excited about extreme cults or creeds, political or religious.
Like anywhere else there are nice bits and not so nice bits in the UK, and the weather is a mixed bag.
But over all its not a bad place to live, especially if you have lots of money.
