Weeeeeeeeeell, who ARE you?????????
Are we the Eggman? Or, are we the Walrus?
"I am," I said..."I am!" I cried... I am me! Who else? And who is anyone but them-self?!
Which one? Eggman or Walrus? I thought that we were the Sporkists; are we not the Sporkists?
Will you ever run out of questions? What is the last question that could ever be asked?
Yay, Cinnesthesia; am I glad to see you back on this part of the forum? That's an interesting question; do you mean the last question that a single person could ever ask; or the last question in all mankind?
I'll rephrase that: What is the last question that could be asked in the universe and beyond?
That depends on whether communication dies before the world does; but I doubt that that will happen, don't you? Do you think that humans could ever turn back into animals, or something primitive? As long as humans are as they are to-day, there will always be something to say, as new things keep on ebing made and old ones re-examined, don't they? So, my guess on the last question would be something like: 'What the hell's happening?' Not exactly the classiest way to bow out, is it? What do you think, Cinnethesia?
After "'What the hell's happening?" will there be anyone around to ask "Now what?" ?
I hope that I never know, don't you? But, would you live forever, if you could?
Now isn't that a good question? Couldn't we all get into quite the philosophical debate about that?!
Boy! That could be a touchy question too, couldn't it? It depends on how you believe, doesn't it? But what or who is right? Things can't end for everyone the way each individual or group believes, can it? Wouldn't I want to live forever if things will be the way they say they will be in the Bible?
If I could live forever as a Rastafarian, wouldn't Heaven be Ethiopia? Shouldn't I be listening to some Ziggy Marley? Yes, I said Ziggy not Bob, didn't I?
I love Ziggy Marley; when did you start listening to him? And, I would live forever; unless it would result in my being struck with all sorts of terrible diseases and degenerative conditions; spending thousands or millions of years like that would be hell, wouldn't it? Could someone invincible ever kill themselves? No, they couldn't, could they?
No! Wouldn't that be horrible, drom-? I can't imagine that forever is full of disease! Wouldn't I much prefer the Ziggy Marley Rastafarian scenario?
We should hope that forever is not full of disease, shouldn't we? Would it not be awful that, when one goes to Heaven, if there be such a thing, one goes in the state that one died in? Although I would prefer not to wake up as Ziggy Marley (although I'd love his talent,) I would prefer that one hundred percent over being diseased and braindead forever: my great-grandmother said that this was wrong, that everyone in Heaven wakes to be with their family on Earth: but would this not be hell for some (or, most?) There was a great '...Earnest' quote about family; I should find it, shouldn't I?
I don't know what I think about there being an Afterlife, but I do hope that we don't all just die; what a let-down would that be? I think that people live on in others' memories of them, rather than physically living; but there might be some credence in the idea of reincarnation; what do you think? ...
My favourite Ziggy recordings? Is not it hard to choose? The first ones that I love that come to my mind are 'Thirteen months of sunshine,' 'Love is the only law,' and 'when lights gone out;' but I can't think of many bad Ziggy songs, can you? Or, do you mean recordings as in his albums? What are your favourites?
