Yes, I'm in an entirely different dimension to you, Endy.
So far 2009 has been sort of OK. No catastrophies to report yet.
It's dead quiet this morning. (Actually it was last night, too.)

Good work there bakingMan!

I think shortbread's easy to make, but a lot of people think it's quite difficult and would tell you that if you can make a decent shortbread you can bake just about anything. So, feather for your cap eh Wink

Somebody makes an amazing double bergamot Earl Grey - that'll totally mess up your head when you first open the package. Almost eye-watering in its scent.

Got up early to go for a long walk. Good start to a new year, I thought. All ready to go, but it's just started raining (which is actually a good thing, as you know, but ... Wink) So I'm "on hold" for a while.

We'll stay in tonight. I've only got a day and a half off in the middle of the week, so I need my beauty sleep Twisted Evil , but hopefully we'll have sunshine allowing us to join the New Year's Day walk down on the beach boardwalk tomorrow.
