This is interesting. Last night at home, I could see the zebra, which I posted just to see if there was any pro-Obama bias going on. But here at work today, I'm still hunting.

Ok, I tried a different proxy server - now I see the zebra after clearing cache. How bizarre.

You should have mentioned that. Proxy servers often have additional caches.

Here's the deal:

1) Gravatar caches. Their cache may not clear for a few hours.
2) Your proxy or ISP can cache. This is not a typical setup but looks to have been the issue in your case.
3) Your browser caches.

To see the updated avatar, you need all caches cleared.

It would seem the proxy server is cacheing. And I have no way to clear it. Thanks!
