Quote:Allow me to rephrase. Have you ever shot anyone?
I killed an old lady in a motor vehicle once. She pulled out in front of me while I was driving with my mother in the passenger seat and two little children in the back seats.
I watched the old lady, she didn't even look once at all, she just gunned it across a busy intersection. I had no stop sign and I hit the brake as hard as I could.
She was very old and her husband had just died a month earlier. She apparently had no will to live.
My mother's head hit the windshield visor and her eyeglasses cut a chunk out of her forehead. When I asked if everyone was alright my mother looked over at me and blood was pouring down her face.
The kids in the back were thrown but only had the wind knocked out of them. I was fine, other than feeling sad for the old lady and my mom.
Her son tried to pin it on me to appease his own guild. Luckily there were about fifty witnesses who all reported that it was her fault.
Her son left her in a house in another state and simply disregarded his duty to her until this happened.
I felt for him too, such is the way of life and death.
