We're not allowing or encouraging or whatever for any tags. The counts are done by computer. We don't jigger the counts; we don't have access to do so even if we wanted to.

Maybe so.

In the past, about some other features of the site, such assertions have been done but obviously they were wrong.

Anyway, tags as the one my name was involved in, only denote a poor taste.

But what else should I expect from that poster?

Francis, whoever posted that tag in question... it's funny.

Check out many of the tags directed at me and other conservatives on this site. Those are the really, truly ugly tags.

just another thought...
can i remove the tags that are on my profile page?
let's see, if my tags are really only my tags, then there wouldnt be any spaghetti or vegetarians, but i would have to go back to the source of all the tags that were applied hypothetically by me in the great migration....
i dont have enough brainpower left to reason this out...

i believe the profile page tags are the ones you most frequently use, so you should be able to 'remove' them by using different tags...

I don't understand the purpose of tags. What does tagging do for anybody, or the thread?
