Good morning, y'all. It was a wonderful evening and we had a late night dinner at Le Mer. The Karoke was delightful and the owner, Roberto, made certain that I had a birthday song sung just for me. The odd thing was that the guys there knew exactly what my Chinese silk pajamas were.
dys, I never liked Letty/Betty either. Much prefer Lettybee.
msolga, the last time that I sang was at a piano bar near Le Mer and it was Kansas City. Thanks, Aussie.
Thanks to you, Rocky. Bet you know all about music, buddy.
My Gawd, Izzie just conjured up The Realm birthday thread. Wonder if Craven has caught up with me yet?
George, Thanks so much.
foxfyre, You are such a dear. It was a wonderful evening, secondary only to this wonderful thread.
Ah, Eva. So glad that you did the picture thing for me, and I do wish I could eat those Belgium eclairs again. I did have a slice of birthday cake courtesy of the management. Unfortunately, I'll have to go back on my regime today as my blood sugar was up. No matter! It was worth it.
dj, thanks, dear. Glad that you're back.
Hey, disappearing Jes. A whistle from a Boston lady is one great compliment. Thanks.
Intrepid, you are a delightful man, and I appreciate the virtual flowers.
Oh, osso. YUM. Thanks, gal.
firefly, thank you, too, o bug of lightning. I got a wee glow from the excellent wine.
Endy, I felt that kiss when I arose this morning. Won't wash my face today.
Reyn, It's always nice to see you here wishing me well. Thanks, Canada.
Ticomaya, love the flying pig. That is always so funny to me.
Merry Andrew, no matter about the picture. It's just great to see my buddy from a long time back, wishing me well.
The karaoke group played sooo many songs that I knew. Among them was Santana's "Black Magic Woman". Love that.
Again, may I thank all of you for making my evening and my day.
From Letty with love.
