Putting greater Omaha area on the map!

It was recently announced that Yahoo will be opening 2 new centers in the Omaha area. The first is a data center in La Vista. The second, is a "customer care center" in West O.

This, after a Google data center comes to Council Bluffs, just across the river. If all these tech companies keep coming, maybe people will actually be able to point out Omaha on a map!

Screw silicon valley, I enjoy living in Silicon Prairie.

@Nick Ashley,
But at the end of the day, you're living in a state where the third largest city (scratch that...) population center is smaller than your football stadium.... Wink

@Nick Ashley,
Good for Omaha, though.

@DrewDad,
LOL - yeah, that is a crazy, but true, statistic. But hey, without Nebraska there would be no Cliff Notes, Kool Aid, or Berkshire Hathaway!

@Nick Ashley,
I liked Omaha when I was there - in, ack, 1959. Summer, and I was seventeen, accompanying a film crew, a ploy from my parents to keep me out of the Sisters of Notre Dame.

It worked.

I'll always regard Omaha well.

Omaha? That's an island off the coast of Honshu, isn't it? Or am I thinking of that sandy beach in Normandy?
