Welcome to the profile of Nick Ashley!

About Nick Ashley
I'm 25, married, and live in Omaha, NE. I spend most of my summer wakeboarding and slalom skiing in Carter Lake. Carter Lake is a tiny little city in between Council Bluffs, IA and Omaha, NE. It is owned by Iowa, but on the Nebraska side of the river. Crazy!

In the winter time, I am less active. However, I try to make it to Colorado every year for some snow skiing. Love the summit area, mainly Keystone, Copper, and Vail.

I am also an avid poker player. I play in a weekly game, which I often write about on this site.

Lastly, I am a huge nerd, and love technology, especially related to the internet. I am a programmer, and love what I do. Also, for those who didn't know, I developed this site (along with Robert).

Nick Ashley's Work
I've been called a web developer, programmer, coder, webmaster, or 'computer guy'. I love creating applications for the web. My tools of choice are PHP, MySQL, & Javascript. However, I am flexible, and work has lead me to programming in .NET (both C#, and VB) as well as classic ASP in the past.

I am a proponent of semmantic markup, and accessibility. I try my best to make everything I create be lightweight, semmantic, accessible, and user friendly.
