“We are the hollow men, We are the stuffed men,” wrote T.S. Eliot, but his hollow beings were filled with nothing, nothing but straw. Dimitri Daniloff fills his beings with quite some other elements that prod the imagination with both humour and high-brow artistic technique. Entitled Porcelain Dolls, the series examines our perceptions of these treasured objects and what may lie behind them.
