I've found a lot of creativity in the kitchen and am going to share my finds here, if you know of good examples of creativity and art with food post them.

@CalamityJane,
That's a nice one. With the Sakura and all it looks Japanese.

@CalamityJane,
I can't read it all, but it seems to say that it's Chinese art?

@Robert Gentel,
Yes, they're saying that food carvings have been practiced by the old Tung
and Sung Dynasty, but these creations in particular are theirs (German firm).

This looks nice too. Looks like tons of onion rings, salmon, carots, and the
bird is made out of radish.

I see I was Ms. Snot. I'm sure I was reacting to a bunch of past seen photos of chinese food-art. But I looked again and laughed about the cauliflower sheep..

I'm also often reactionary, semi-reactionary, about high end gourmet plate presentation, which is also an art. Sort of like "give me my meat and potatoes already", as they generally look good together. And yet.. I sometimes like all that food play.

Relating it to another curmudgeonly take of mine, on some "art in the landscape". I often, though not always, prefer the landscape without the added art.
