aq- lost twice

i switched to loose aggressive.. yeah. enough said.

last hand...

my hand is king ace of diamonds, one off from a straight flush btw, flush on the flop, lost to a fuckin suckout full house.
i think its true the biggest part of poker is quitting when ur tilting like a mofo!!!

wait thats not even tilt i was playing excellently. stupid randomness.

@OGIONIK,
Damn dude, that sucks. As the annoying phrase goes, though "that's poker!". How long were you playing for? Seems crazy to get rockets 9 times in a night.

@Nick Ashley,
Nick is right, you shouldn't have gotten pocket aces that many times anyway, so it's not at all like you were inordinately unlucky.

@OGIONIK,
You should get Aces every 220 hands. The average game does 30 hands per hour so at that rate you would have been a bit lucky to see pocket aces even once.

Getting it 9 times is to be hit by the deck, then dragged around the streets by the deck.

@Robert Gentel,
what are the odds of getting the same hand, 4 deals in a row? same suit.

@OGIONIK,
Sounds like you mean the exact same hand. So since there's no specific hand required the first time can be any two cards, and you really just need to see what the odds of them repeating 3 more times are.

So picture your next deal. You are getting a card out of 52 card and it needs to be one of the 2 previous cards. So you have a 2/52 chance of this happening. The next card dealt will represent a 1/51 chance. This repeats for the next two rounds. To get the cumulative odds, multiply each time. So:

(2/52)(1/51)(2/52)(1/51)(2/52)(1/51) = 1/2,331,473,976

@Robert Gentel,
i ahve to quit poker,t he randomness is way to o high for me.

i keep thinking, oh if i just learn more, get more skilled ill win.

there is no skill involved, only patience.

damn i had some fun tho, before i realized it was 90% random.
