"Gus has made quads!"

This is a hell of a cooler hand, and for an awful lot of money. I think it's the highest single hand pot in the history of televised poker.

@OGIONIK,
Gus Hansen has a personal angel sitting on his shoulder. Was that a CASH game I just saw? We get tournament poker on satellite here, but I've never seen a cash game.

@Wilso,
Yup, it was cash. I'm not a big fan of watching poker on tv, mainly because I don't watch tv much but also because the poker play from the "pros" (read: famous poker players) is often pretty bad or uninteresting.

That's why most poker players who I know like the High Stakes Poker show the most, it's cash and they are playing with their own money. So Negranu lost over $300,000 or so on that hand, not just tournament chips.
