xylitol, in many foods, toxic to dogs:

Thanks, Osso for that vital info. While it's unlikely to get into any food I feed my pets, it's good to know. Accidentally it could happen w/o my awareness.

Me either, littek. Well, I don't suppose many people give dogs Jello (if indeed it does have xylitol) but many people do give dogs 'scraps', perhaps more so in constrained economic times. And if it is one of those ingredients making their way into packaged food products, uh...



Or it could be more fear mongering, but.. doesn't seem so to me. Just information to attend to.
