A Question About Video Projuectors

which is preferable an xga or svga projector? I'm looking at A 3000 lumen projector to project vidoe games onto a screen in nightclub applications

Typically, SVGA is 800 x 600 ..... XGA, is 1,024 x 768

Depends on the resolution you want. Video games in a nightclub application? Probably doesn't matter since nobody will probably see it clearly anyhow.

2500 lumens is as high as svga goes though. I wanted to go at lest 3000.

actually I tried a 2500 lumen svga today and for what I'm doing it's just right.

Last night I did my maiden run of my new promotion.... and althought the 2500 lumen svga did the CG's just fine...when I ran a Led Zeppelin dvd.... not so great for that....will a 2500 lumen xga make a difference in the quality that is noticeable do you think? Or do I need to go to 300 lumens, or deveral hundred more dollars. The brightness in the room was not an issue.
