As an insurance policy, The Atlanta Falcons have filed a formal protest in Super Bowl 51 stating that in the event the New England Patriots win in overtime, the Falcons had more total yards, and therefore they should be declared the winners.

The FBI and NFL security have located Tom Brady's stolen Super Bowl LI jersey after it was taken by a member of the media, according an NFL spokesman.

In addition, Brady's Super Bowl XLIX jersey was recovered. The two items were "found in the possession of a credentialed member of the international media," NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy said in a statement.



"Due to the ongoing investigation, we would refer any additional questions to the FBI," McCarthy said.

Fox Sports's Jay Glazer first reported the FBI was involved because the "jersey was on foreign soil."
