coach continues to think outside the box...
Quote:
In a unique twist this week, Patriots coach Bill Belichick had players leave practice and head to the locker room
as if was a halftime break of the Super Bowl. The halftime break is longer than the normal game and this was an
example of Belichick's "situational coaching." Belichick might have been thinking that unlike Super Bowls in 2003,
2004 and 2007, he has more players who haven't played in the game.

"We were trying to simulate the best we can, it's not perfect but it's the best we could do," he said. "Practice,
take a break, come back out and re-start."

In an interview with ESPN's Sal Paolantonio, quarterback Tom Brady explained that because halftime is so long,
it's almost like playing two different games. So it is important to warm up again at the start of the second half.

I really can't decide who to root for in the Superbowl. Normally it's really easy but this year both QB's are hot. I'm in a quandary! Cool

@jcboy,
I typically always pull for whomever is opposite the line from Brady.

I've been a GIANTS fan since 1958...and I have butterflies right now. Can't wait for the game. Hoping it will be a good competitive game!

Ahhh...actually, I'm hoping for a GIANTS runaway, but...ya know!
