My deepest sympathies.

As a pet custodian of about 18 yrs, I truly know how deep the feelings run. My cats have been gone for over a year now and each day that passes I miss them.

May your dear pet rest in peace.

@BumbleBeeBoogie,
Oh god BBB, that is just horrible.

I know the new Dolly will never replace the old Dolly but I hope she brings you some joy during this sad sad time.

Losing a beloved pet is one of the hardest things in life.

Oh, BBB. I'm so sorry. I could always tell from your posts how much you love your dogs. Be gentle with yourself. Let the tears flow as they may.

@BumbleBeeBoogie,
One of my dogs died while I was in high school. A girl asked why I was sad, I told her.

She said "I don't get it. It's just a stupid dog."

To this day, I've never came so close to punching a woman.

Those who have never loved a true pet, especially one that has become family, cannot understand how it feels to lose one. I do. So sorry BBB.

Oh no. I'm so sorry to hear this. Dolly was well-named. She truly was a doll. I remember how affectionate she was, and I'm sure you'll miss her something fierce. I just feel awful for you, BBB.

When you can, please post pictures of Dolly2.

@JPB,
Thanks, JPB, I have not learned how to post images yet. I will have to find the instructions.

Dolly 2 is only eight weeks old. She slept with Maddy 2 and I last night. Didn't poop or pee on my bed. A good beginning.

@BumbleBeeBoogie,
Imageshack is superior because the pics last longer. NOT imageshack.com... it's:

    To upload pics from your computer:
  1. Click -> http://www.imageshack.us/
  2. Hit "browse" to upload your pic (hint: easy to find if you save it to your desktop).
  3. Copy "Hotlink for forums (1)" and paste it where you want it in any post.
  4. Enjoy your new skill.

@BumbleBeeBoogie,
BBB - I saw this thread this morning but couldn't bring myself to read it. Now I have. I'm so sad for your loss. Dogs that kill dogs aren't right in the head. Our Chloe bear's mother was attacked by a pig dog as a pup, even though she went straight into the submissive posture (exposing her belly and ending up with enormous stomach wounds).

I'm angry and sad. Wish I could say something healing about your dominion.
