@cicerone imposter,

Okay here goes. I've not seen all our pictures yet, and there are probably about 1400 of them, but here's a selection from what I've got:

In the Palace Hotel, Market Street, SF

Well-known street scene in that fair city

In the foyer of the Hyatt, a difficult subject

@McTag,
I must admit that it all looks very well planned and orderly. Leaving aside the shorts I mean. My picture of America is nothing like that. The cars waiting in line on the manicured roadway are like ours. I thought ZZ-Top styles were more common.

The lady on the left in the first pic seems to be dining on the hoof. That alone would have rendered it aesthetically unpleasing enough for me to have excluded it if I had a choice of 4 out of 1400 pics. I hope it is an oversight and not because the other 1396 pics are even worse. She draws the attention away from the proper focus.

It sure doesn't look bankrupt. The financial crisis is obviously a load of bollocks. The selling of a lurch to the command economy.

The art work in No 4 is quite funny.

@McTag,
The brownstone in the third picture belonged to Huntington who together with Crocker help build the Central Pacific Railroad. To the right of that, the whitestone, is the Fairmont Hotel where we used to go for dinner-shows when we were very young. The Top of the Mark is across the street from "there."

George hosted a nice occasion at his club. George proved to be a very genial guy, a kind of human tornado who hits you when you're not listening (or don't seem to be.)

We had a lovely evening, finishing at the Top of the Mark, where unlike some evenings with the Irish no shillelaghs were used, no heads were broken, and just a little trans-gender arm wrestling was engaged in.

In the excellent railway museum, in the dining car, echoes of a more graceful era

@McTag,
I once bought the kitchen equipment of a bankrupt electronics company for £25. There was half a ton of stuff like that Mac most of which got tipped into a skip.

Those soup spoons are useless for slurping. Proper soup spoons are larger than that.

@spendius,

Spendy, I'm pretty sure that not everyone thinks you are as funny as you evidently do.
You know I'm not posting for you, so why don't you stick your opinions in that shady place.

@McTag,
Why don't you stick the record of your daily doings up your arse instead of boring us all stiff with it? When squandering scarce resources is offered up as interesting you are into ruining economic systems. That's the message of the pyramids.

A2K is not a McTag appreciation society is it?
