So...

went for a stroll...

been looking at the structures in Dallas today.... a lot different to back home but love the lines and simplicity of them... I think a lot of US cities possibly look similar - but I enjoyed snapping these buildings.

Hey, Iz-! Curious one that I am, I googled and asked around and so far it would seem that general consensus is that your bird in the pic IS a cardinal - though not in very good shape! Still got my feelers out about it, though. Will let you know if I get a definitive answer!

For some strange reason they don't seem to like me as much this year. 'Course it's been so humid, I've been in a bit more. Bet I could give your British white & pasty a run for it's money! Pale as I've ever been, for a summer, I think!

Those are very nice pictures, Izzie. You do have an eye for bringing
an interesting scene into the picture. I also like the one building that has
these intricate balconies as contrast to the otherwise bland high rise.

Yep CJ - beautiful building - had to take that one out of the moving car window so I couldn't get the shot...it's a hotel! Nice.

I can't help but notice - there are no people in the pictures and thus probably the reason why izzie focused mainly on architecture. I know the reason why too - it's too damn hot and nobody goes outside in Dallas during the summer. Houston is the same way - if you cannot drive or walk underground... forget it.
