A nod and a wave to Noddy. I wonder who she was assigned as guardian angel to?

Probably a "Dennis the Menace" type, Foxfyre. Noddy is good at that (among
many other things).

It's been a year and tonight is a full moon - pretty good arranged!

Strange, y'all. I awakened at 3 AM and looked through my window to see the setting full moon. I had just heard from my daughter that my son had been weaned off the ventilator and I thought of Noddy.

I think she would loved this song, especially the funny bit at the end.

Very strange...I knew Noddy had left us but I didn't know why. It must have happened while I was without eyesight.
I only communicated a few times with her. She asked me if I wanted to choose the featured threads for music and I told her I would. Two days later she P.M 'd me saying:"Pan, it's not working out. I'm gonna take over again" Very Happy
She didn't mess around. I miss her and so does my dominion.

I miss you, Noddy. It always gives me a pang to come to A2K, which I do very, very rarely now (perhaps because it gives me a pang) because for me A2K was/is synonymous with Noddy. Sad

This is very sad news. I realize that I have expected the people on A2K to be here forever. I don't know if it's of any comfort, but Noddy was very unique and I always enjoyed reading her comments.....at least we will have her words on this forum...gone in a sense but not forgotten.

She touched us all in her unique way. I never saw a single negative related to her on the forums. I miss her too.

I remember getting mad on her behalf at people being mad at her -- she didn't usually need defending, though.

I remember Noddy basically telling me to lighten up (though in much kinder words than that) when I suggested that "life was too short" to read crap novels & I wasn't going to waste my time ...... which led to a chat about simple, light-hearted fun ... the many virtues of! Just what I needed at the time! Smile

Just read through this thread again. It still brings tears --- followed by smiles. Full moon tonight -- a rare blue moon. I'll be thinking of Jill as I toast in the new year.
