I have a Rainsoft water system Mad . It is about 5 years old. The pump on top of the backwash tank has just started to constantly run. The water coming out of the black hose smells like bleach (like it is supposed to) but it will not stop running. I live WAY OUT in BFE with sulpher water Shocked . It takes the repair man about 3 weeks to get out here finally. Does anyone know how to either shut off the pump or fix it??? Shocked Shocked

I'm sure others will post soon but in the mean time you should unplug the unit and put it into by-pass mode.

Well, first of all, is it really a 'pupm' you are talking about or a valve. In other words, what actually provides the pressure for your systems? Usually, there is a submersible pump in the ground or a jet/ shallow ell pump in the house or somewhere. Not sure where it would go in Egypt.

Get back with us and provide as much detail as possible. Pictures would be great but model numbers would also help.
