Osso, that was pretty mean. It should have been said privately, though frankly, I don't think you had any right to comment on him whatsoever. People can write and be whatever they want.

Osso may have just been feeling like she needed to talk with someone maybe? Should have been PM but, wasn't but - no need to go bashing people about back and forth here. I'm hoping that everyone who had planned on coming will be here. From the very beginning, I have stressed that this is going to be a gathering of friends with no stress involved--stress is bad for the heart and the emotions. I'm also being rather protective of Bob, since he has been having a rough time for the last couple of years and doesn't need anything but good friends and enjoyable conversation. I'm confident that can really happen.

When we are all together, I'll bet that all this will be left behind and we will naturally fall into a group of friends who care for each other and who want to know each other better and who want to have a good time.

No, Quinn, I'm not hosting the event. Osso has done the lion's share of the research into restaurants and places of interest. I have tried to help but my share has been minute compared to what osso has done.

I really don't think there is a 'host' as such. Realjohnboy had been planning on coming this way for some time, maybe on the train. He then had important business to attend to and had to change his plans. We all just decided it would be a great time for getting to know each other better and visiting with old friends.

I so wish the Boston crowd could come. You all would spice things up for sure.
