Is the sending or receiving of pornography from/to an adult over the Internet illegal? What exactly is pornography?

Por·nog·ra·phy

1 : the depiction of erotic behavior (as in pictures or writing) intended to cause sexual excitement
2 : material (as books or a photograph) that depicts erotic behavior and is intended to cause sexual excitement
3 : the depiction of acts in a sensational manner so as to arouse a quick intense emotional reaction <the>

according to webster.com

Depending on your location (westernized countries) you can send/receive
pornography via email, as long as all parties involved - and that includes participants in the pornography pictures/videos - are adults, and adults
only!

But if it involves kids - be prepared to get arrested. THAT is illegal.

But if it involves animals, it's still OK.
