Hello, I am considering to install whole house water softener/filter, there are so many product on the market, after doing a little online search, I am considering use the Pelican PSE1800 premium package which include a Natursoft Salt-free softener system plus the pc-600 premium whole house filter, did anyone use it before? Could you pls share your experience? Thank you!
Did the marketing you read actually say it was a salt-free "softener"? It is NOT a softener, so if that is what you need, you would be wasting your money. If you just need a special filter, then there are numerous other methods you could use.
What are your water conditions?

Thank you for the quick response! Did you use the product before? On their website, it says Natursoft Salt-free softener system plus the pc-600 premium whole house filter, with two tanks, one is softner one is filter...
My biggst objection is that it is marketed as a softener, when, in fact, it is not. A softener removes calcium and magnesium through either an ion nexchange method or nano- or hyperfiltration.
The Pelican model does not do this. It may improve the water to the satisfaction of the user, but it doe not softener the water.
No, I do not own one and have no need to affect my water with the benefits of its claim.
