Geez, you're all a grim lot-- my good news is I started eating chocolate at 7:30 a.m.

My good news is I finally found a great barely used treadmill for cheap yesterday and my giant puppy is finally tired.

The Red Sox won yesterday at their home opener, Bill Buckner threw out opening day pitch and the Sox got their rings.

I have been very happy just lately

got a new job in the Hague. Netherlands, baby!

I've got a real job with real health insurance now. Working with troubled kids again in a group home in a manager position.

I've got my own apartment and my independence back.

I've got all my debts paid off... well except my appendix surgery... but that's ok because...

I'm appendix free!

YAHOO!

Um. Other than that nothing else is new.

My connection was acting up again. My computer is generally goofy and Firefox often "unexpectedly quits." I'm used to that, not a huge deal, just click "restore session" and I'm back where I was in a minute or so. But for about 2 hours this morning (every time I tried anyway) it would quit in seconds. Couldn't do anything at all, and I have stuff (work and other) that I need to do on the computer! Was driving me crazy.

Did this and that and the other thing and either I finally fixed the problem or it faded spontaneously. Fine for now. (Knock on wood.)
