That's just the way the cookie crumbles. We are in a new era now. We are being softened up into acceptance mode and we might end up on our knees thanking The Lord for any water, hot or cold, dripping or gushing, that comes out of the shower.
We couldn't go on forever with credit cards "taking the waiting out of wanting." We might have had a chance had we kept it secret from the ladies but--hey-once you teach them to read and write you can forget it. I think we did quite well making it last as long as we did.
