91 - 73
Now, I'm not that great a basketball fan, but, when the local team does that well, I have to boast about it. Funny thing, they're doing it without their star player.
they are playing way over their (luther) head right now.
the record is 33...
83 - 75
#20
ONLY 13 to go.
the celtics, meanwhile, have a more modest 10-gamer going...
Rockets had a tough go of it last time. They are probably ripe for about any team to beat them any game now.

89 - 80 against the Bobcats. Another struggle to get ahead.
Sole posession of second for consecutive wins. Tied with Lakers, who lost last night, for conference lead. They meet the Lakers on Sunday.
it's amazing they keep winning while being yao-less...
I think they tend to play down a notch with Yao, depending on him to carry the day.
22 wins in a row, beating the Lakers by 12 and taking first place.
Boston's next to fall, hopefully. Ooh, and that game is going to be on TNT Tuesday night! Sweet!
It's nice to see San Antonio and Dallas slip a bit.
they beat up the lakers without much of anything from mcgrady.
impressive.
the C's will bring some serious D on tuesday...
It's gotta end soon, I know. My regret is, it can't last through the playoffs.
I never thought I'd see that record be challenged.... I still think they can't beat it but this is a hell of a run.

I never believed in these guys. Nice to be so pleasantly surprised.
the C's settled down and knocked off san antone after getting their butts handed to them in the 1st quarter.
it's been a while since we had a Bahstin-Houston final...
This run by the Rockets brings back to my mind the sort of excitement that made me start loving the game back in the day. On paper, they should not be doing what they are doing - but you can't measure raw determination, grit, and belief in one's abilities.
This has been fun to watch...
As I said at thye beginning, I'm not the staunchest supporter of the game. I do love these guys for what they are accomplishing. (How much are they paying Yao)?
