Sorry cheeseheads... looks like Favre is done for:
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3276034
Don't believe that fool, jpin. It is merely his annual game.
If he did indeed retire, I find it rather humorous that his last was intercepted.
I don't know Gus... he usually says that he hasn't made up his mind. It sounds pretty certain this time.
Do you think gargamel will slash his wrists?
Will sozobe hurl herself off a cliff?
What about Occom Bill? Will he jump in front of a train?
he'll take a year off, and then come back for a few more seasons...
I actually feel quite bad about this news, not because I give a rat's ass about Favre, but rather because I care deeply for sozobe, gargamel and Bill.
The mental anguish those people must be going through right now is almost unbearable to think about.
Did I just say I cared for Bill?
Scratch that.
Aw hell.
That sounds pretty final, yeah.
Damn.
<hands soz a razor blade>
Brett Favre, dys. He was a mediocre quarterback who toiled in the NFL for a good amount of years. He never amounted to much and will soon be forgotten.
so will we all, gus, so will we all.
so you're saying he's the opposite of John Elway?
dag, perhaps this visual will help jog your memory?
I will tell you one thing, and I normally don't make such statements for fear of causing dissension, but Brett Favre, even at the peak of his career, could never, in his wildest dreams, hold the jock strap of John Elway.
They were that far apart in ability.
