CONTEST SALADS: Napa Cabbage Salad

NAPA CABBAGE SALAD
Adapted by BumbleBeeBoogie

1 or 2 heads of Napa lettuce, shredded or thinly sliced
5 or 6 green onions, thinly sliced

Chop and place in large bowl.

1 stick butter
1/2 to 1 tsp sesame seeds
2 packages ramen noodles, crush in package (do not use seasoning)
1 small package slices almonds

Melt the butter in a skillet and toast ingredients until they are light brown. Toss with the lettuce and the onions.

For the dressing:
1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup white granulated sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
2 teaspoons soy sauce

Mix the ingredients in a shaker container. When ready to serve, shake the dressing well and mix it with the salad ingredients.
