PUPPY CHOW FOR HUMANS

9 cups Chex cereal
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
1/4 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chunky peanut butter
1-1/2 cups powdered confectioners sugar

Place the cereal in a large bowl and set aside.

In a microwave oven, melt both of the chips in a microwave-safe container. Add the peanut butter, butter and stir until smooth. Beat in the vanilla.

Pour the mixture over the cereal and stir until it is coated.

Place the cereal mixture and the powdered sugar in paper bags, close and shake until the cereal mixture is coated. Spread the cereal out on wax paper until set.

Store in a covered container.
