Spring seems to have been put on hold for a couple of days. It will return shortly.

Hope all is ok, Noddy.

Littlek--

Thanks. Mr. Noddy and his broken pelvis and tailbone will be home tomorrow. I never wanted a career in nursing, but needs must when the devil drives.

There is a fat, self-satisfied robin outside my window and he's evidently finding fat, self-satisfied worms.

Spring arrives tomorrow.

Oops.

Spring arrives on Thursday.

Wednesday is the last Garbage Day of the Winter.

Out, out, old symbolism.

The Finches are back; both the American Red and the Golden, I am expecting the hummers to be back soon. I MUST buy more feed as the Doves are eating everything I put out.

I'm not counting on instant floral displays--although my early bulbs should be showing color. I'm not even counting on leaves on the trees--that won't happen for another 40 days in the Poconos.

The weather will be warmer. Surfaces will be less slippery. Slowly, slowly, slowly....

You and your camera and your scenic outlook create a lot of envy in my heart.

celebrate the equinox
Known as the equinox, the geocentric astronomical event marks the first day of spring in the northern hemisphere and autumn in the south. Equinox means equal night and with the Sun on the celestial equator, Earth dwellers will experience nearly 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness. Of course, for those in the north, the days will grow longer with the Sun marching higher in the sky as summer approaches.
